The Dance of the Dragon: an Odyssey into Earth Energies and Ancient Religion by Paul Broadhurst and Hamish Miller

ISBN 0 9515183 4 8

The Dance of the Dragon: an Odyssey into Earth Energies and Ancient Religion by Paul Broadhurst and Hamish Miller unfolds the ancient legends of the slaying of the dragon and the significance of its repetitive religious allegory in relation to the Apollo lei lines.

The book is introduced with the story of the sun god Apollo slaying the famous Python in Greek tradition. It quickly asks the reader to question why the story of the slaying of the dragon has been consistently retold. “Why did Christianity employ the same motif for its dragon slaying saints, the greatest of whom is Archangel Michael, whose name means, ‘He who is like God.” (3)

When asking the reader to questions this, it then introduces Jean Richer, a French scholar who was always interested in the idea of landscapes having a unique sacred character, reflected in the temples and ancient monuments built on them. His study, led him to conclude that there was a connection between the architecture and the relation to the land. Miraculously, it has been documented that while studying the sacred temples he had a dream. His dream led him to “discover an alignment of temple sites which prominently feature the most significant God and Goddess of the Greek pantheon.” (8)

The Dance of the Dragon briefly explains that all the temples had geographical relations and was called the Apollo line; each temple representing the intersecting of an earth line always angled sixty degrees west of the north. This Apollo line includes the five Archangel Michael sanctuaries.
This book then explores all the stories of the slaying of the dragon from ancient cultures, including Greek and Egypt to modern Christianity. The repetition of this story and the analysis of ancient cultures and symbols are fascinating, but not a new idea. The authors then continue to explain the many symbols of Archangel Michael, the embodiment of the earthly mother Mary, the protector of Christ, and then even Archangel Michael as a new Christ like figure.

While continuing to examine ancient stories of the slaying of the dragon, the authors state, “The truth is that they are all based on an underlying universal myth that is so profound as to be central to Western civilization.” (28) This leaves the reader wondering what is the significance of the slaying of the dragon and the Apollo line, what is this truth? The authors then state that the slaying of the dragon is not the slaying of evil, as the Christian church portrays, but rather good fortune, fertility, the symbol of a Life Force, a universal consciousness, and a living symbol of time- the idea that the dragon rules the universe.

Although this is interesting, the authors attempt to draw a relation between all the ancient cultures who depict the slaying of the dragon and the actual placing of the temples on the lei lines is rather unclear. This causes the reader to feel unsatisfied and as if one must draw their own conclusion. In scattered thoughts the authors seem to convey that the lei-line which goes from Palestine to St. Michael is the passage of the dragon, controlled by the solar god, and represented in a plethora of ancient cultures. This book contains beautiful photographs and follows a modern pilgrimage, but should not be read if one is interested in discovering the truth, the facts, and the real legend of the dragon.

THE RISE OF THE FOURTH REICH, Jim Marrs
ISBN-10: 0061245585
ISBN-13: 978-0061245589

The Rise of the Fourth Reich by Jim Marrs is an investigation regarding how Hitler and the NAZI party came into power, while also demonstrating its lucrative technological, medical, and social advancements and the implications this presently holds; the United States emerging as the new Reich.

Marrs, who has the capability of presenting an immense amount of information and facts, opens his analysis by clearing explaining the term NAZI and Reich. NAZI is the acronym for National Socialism, while Reich which is the German word for empire, also means wealthy. But what does this mean in a global perspective? Marrs effectively communicates that the world’s elite strives for one thing- power and wealth. “It is this unswerving attention to commerce and banking that lies behind nearly all modern world events. It is the basis for a “New World Order” mentioned by both Hitler and former president George H.W. Bush.” (7)

Marrs continues to explain by presenting startling facts that the rise of Hitler and the opposing attacks against communism were only possible due to those in the background. In essence, this massive political movement was made possible due to Western propaganda and financial banking assistance from international Western civilizations.

“These owners included the Morgan affiliated First National Bank of New York (among whose directors were Harold S. Vanderbilt and Wendell Wilkie), the Bank of England, the Reichsbank, the Bank of Italy, the bank of France and other central Banks.” (29)

Besides the international exchange to fund war in order to become wealthier in the future, the technologic advances which were made, including atomic bombs (this explains why the US quickly obtained the knowledge to bomb Hiroshima), flying saucers, and brain washing were traded amongst an elite group of people that surpass the known government. This means that society is not managed by the government which is presented, but rather organizations of secret societies with massive social and political strengths.

This is why, Marrs then explains, that prominent figures that strategically maneuvered the entire NAZI movement were never charged, managed to fake their own deaths, and escape to various places particularly in South America. This creates tremendous implications since the majority of these figures were aided with new passports and papers given to them by the Roman Catholic Church, the International Criminal Police Organization, and the CIA.

Once these figures escaped many were then also hired by the United States in order to “exploit the knowledge of Nazi scientist” called the Paperclip Project. “By 1955, nearly a thousand German scientists had been granted citizenship in the United States and given prominent positions in the American scientific community.” (149) This also explains why Russia was able to complete a moon landing. Germans within the Paperclip project were infiltrating and releasing information on both sides. Both the Russians and NASA followed ancient occult traditions when conducting their studies. Essentially, the dates that space missions would be conducted on were based on astrology, the position of the planet and the stars, and according to a secret organization called the Majestic 12.

As Marrs continues to bombard the reader with facts, names, and information, one begins to understand his message. Marrs successfully links the past and the present and demonstrates that both events and sociological patterns are all part of a plan to control society, in essence it is the evolution of the National Socialist Agenda. As Marrs states, “Even the fields of religion, education, and entertainment are being used to transform whole generations of formerly free Americans into cowed and subservient members of an increasingly National socialist system- a fascist fourth Reich.” (376) The fourth Reich has risen and Marrs asks us to prepare ourselves before inescapable control is instituted and our country is fully taken.

Epicenter by Joel C. Rosenberg is not something you want to read before going to bed. It will make your thoughts shake and you will quickly be unable to stop thinking about the current status of the world and its future. Joel Rosenberg, the acclaimed author of The Last Jihad, has some sort of eerie power; the ability to write “fictional” novels about horrific political and historical events, which happen to come true after publication.

However, this time, Epicenter is not fiction, but Joel examining and analyzing the current state of the world, and demonstrating how the prophesizes of Ezekiel in the bible are rapidly unfolding, particularly in the middle east.

Step by step, page by page, Joel carefully explains the strange language in the Ezekiel chapters. But slowly the reader becomes fully emerged and understands the historical and biblical significance of the Middle East and the future of the world. Are we approaching end times? Is it possible, that Iran now holds enough uranium to build a nuclear bomb which would, “contaminate 3,000 to 5,000 square miles with toxic levels of radiation, and kill 300,000 people within a matter of minutes?” (xviii)

But all these questions are answered.

“Bible prophecy describes an event in which the armies of the world let by Gog and Magog would invade Israel.” (60)

Joel carefully explores ancestry and the related philosophy of Voltaire in order to illustrate that when Ezekiel spoke of Gog and Magag, he was referring to what we call Russia today. Joel also goes line by line to explore all the other countries involved in the partnership to invade, and how now today it seems more probable then any other historical time that these countries would create a partnership

For instance, part of the partnership against Israel that Ezekiel warns will unfold is between Russia and Iran. Russia, with Putin as President, who was a former Soviet spy, continues to sell “nuclear power plants, fuel and technology to Iran- the most dangerous state sponsor of terrorism on the planet- has announced a 40% increase in the Russian military budget, and just announced the development of a new class of Russian strategic nuclear missiles.” (95)

But this is just the beginning, with Iran’s president publicly stating that he wants to “wipe Israel off the map”, Joel explains why Ahmadinejad was being so forward towards starting war with Israel. Ahmadinejad is “driven by the belief that the Islamic messiah will appear in the next two or three years and that by launching a war to annihilate Israel, in particular, they can hasten that day.” (123)

Furthermore, despite Joel’s exploration of the war illustrated in the Ezekiel chapters, Joel also addresses all the phenomenon that are quickly unfolding; the rise of Israelis financial and economic stability, the possibility of rebuilding Solomon’s temple, and even the emergence of the new Babylon in Iraq.

Can all this really be a coincidence? Are the biblical prophesies unfolding before all of our eyes? If so, how long do we have? And if these prophecies are right, then should this not awaken us to see to really believe that there is a God? This book will make you tremble; it will push you to realize that aligning your soul with God is now more important than ever.

Skinny Bitch by Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin draws females simply by the title and the animated girl in a small black dress posted on the front cover.

Any young girl that watches Hollywood super stars would be drawn to hip language and promised secrets. But what does it really uncover? Are any of the ideas really new? Or are the authors simply great at marketing and know that calling woman “pussies”, “bitches”, and “fat pigs” will quickly cause this book to be the number one New York best seller.

The language used to speak to the readers has been previously criticized. There are concerns, that these skinny authors are in fact the “bitches”, using this book as an excuse to bash the already unconfident audience. But perhaps this really is a “tough love guide” and the use of “fat pig” to unravel the secrets will aid girls in “looking fabulous.”

The book did have a fun way of unfolding, sharing the secrets of the farming and slaughter industry while revealing its tangled mess with our political government. It also does contain information about fake sugar, which was consistently rejected by the FDA, but then still released. The authors claim “Maybe they are sleeping with the sugar industry.” (Page 31)

Throughout the books clever moments, their idea unfolds. How do you look fabulous? Follow a Vegan regime. After the book completely disgusts you and scares you to death that your going to become a hormone filled human fat pig, of course, we wonder, should we become Vegans? Or will this Vegan craze become the new media scare with “medical articles” releasing information about the side effects of soy, the dangers of tofu, and possibly even the problems with vegetables. Who knows? In this world it seems that nothing is good for you anymore.

The Obama Nation Jerome R Corsi

Obama’s eloquent speeches cry out to our nation, the word he consistently repeats, echoes: CHANGE, but what does Obama actually mean when he states change? What does change mean to him and for us? “The Obama Nation” by Jerome R. Corsi is a fascinating analysis that explores the intriguing differences between Obama’s “psychological” autobiography and the life that he actually lived.

Corsi’s critique on Obama opens with the subtle lies that Obama expresses in regards to his father and to his identity with race. Obama depicts his father as a poor villager from Kenya, who was selected to study in the U.S., by government officials, due to his superior intellect. But Corsi’s careful investigation illustrates that Obama senior’s family had political associations to Kenya’s government, which allowed him to be picked in order to return and form the new Kenya, free from colonization. Obama’s father, which appears to be a man of strength and virtuous characteristics, is quickly shown to actually be a polygamist alcoholic; who abandoned several women, and many children, including Barack Obama, himself.

Corsi’s examination quickly reveals that Obama’s struggles was not because of race as he likes to illustrate, but predominantly a common emotional struggle due to abandonment. Besides this, more and more facts are revealed regarding who Obama is and what he presents. But what the reader should be asking is what is Obama hiding and why?

But this great mystery is also unraveled. . Is Obama a Muslim, hiding behind Christianity, with an Islamic agenda? Corsi then draws the ties. Like his father, part of the Luo tribe in Kenya, Obama has deep rooted political ties. In Kenya, with the majority of the population Christian, the Muslim conflict and hope for domination causes wars among political leaders, each fighting for their own religious ideologies. In 2006, the beginning of an election, for a new government in Kenya, was unfolding. Raila Odinga and Mwai Kibaki ran for the position. At this time, coming to Africa, Obama openly admitted his support for Odinga and frequently worked with him, as Obama’s father had also once supported. But who is Odinga? What does he believe?

“Odinga’s current party, the Orange Democratic Movement, or ODM, is a leftist-socialist political party that stops short of being openly communist.” (Page 103)
Prior to the election, Odinga, was also found to have signed secret agreements with radical Muslims to “rewrite the constitution of Kenya to recognize Shari’a as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared regions.” (108) Interestingly enough, when Odinga lost the election, he declared that his loss was due to voter fraud. His declaration caused widespread fighting, murders of woman and children, rape, and the massive destruction of Christian churches. Coincidently, not one mosque was destroyed.

Besides this already, haunting look at Obama’s political ties, the many questions surface, why does he deny his Muslim faith, if he has nothing to hide? What is his political agenda for the United States? And also, where does his political strategy “change” derive from?

Corsi, then explores Obama’s rise to politics in Chicago. As Palin, has recently declared Obama’s political career launched in Chicago, in Bill Ayers living room. Bill Ayers was one of the organizers of the Weather Undergrounds, a well known domestic terrorist group. Corsi’s book carefully outlines the facts that show Obama directly working with Bill Ayers, despite Obama’s consistent denial.

Also, Obama admits to have worked with a man named Kellman to organize the Chicago community, but he neglects to state that Kellman’s organizational principles were based on Saul Alinsky’s ideologies.

Alinsky believed that to in order to influence the public a “motion for peaceful revolution, using the ballot box. …….Make no mistake about it “change” was always Alinsky’s code word for creating a socialist revolution, even if the methodology meant radicals would cut their hair, put on business suits, and run for political office.” (131)

If Obama has embedded himself in these principles, then what can a voter really believe? What can we trust when Alinsky’s ideologies push that any distortion is needed, if it is for the greater good. But who is the greater good for?

Corsi then explores that while Obama worked with Kellman, they began developing community activities focusing on local churches with strong ties and resources. Like Alinsky, they knew that “if they could win the support of the church, we’d be off and running.” (184) Despite, consistent church activity, Obama did not join the church until he was accepted into Harvard. However, Obama knew that joining a church, would be the only way he would make it in politics.

“Obama became a member of Trinity, he had proof he was a Christian, as he professed to be.” (187).

Although, it is not surprising that he picked Trinity, a radical church, that believes in black liberation theory (the idea that the historical Jesus was black), and with Wright as the reverend.

Corsi’s book clearly shows that Obama hides the truth in order to push a greater agenda. Obama is not what he presents, but a carefully crafted politician, with the possibility of pushing extremist views and yes, changing America, but not necessarily

The Way of the World by Ron Suskind is a unique kind of narrative. Suskind uses historical facts and disclosures to illuminate the truth of the post 9/11 world. This narrative is written with layers and transitions, characters going in and out in such a way that it exposes the mind and thoughts of Americans and others around the world. This narrative gives the reader a perspective, a look at the life we are now living due to 9/11, and the blurred boundary between race, religion, and human justice. Each character reflecting the layers of America and the world; the young Muslim boy from Afghanistan, living in America, with his “new mom,” pleased to show the young Muslim a new culture. The Pakistan student, who is educated and now American, stopped and taken into custody for possibly being a terrorist, due to the way he looks in Washington D.C.

And with these layers, we understand that the American Iranian states to the Christian lawyer defending the prisoners at Guantánamo Bay, “This is not the America I came to when I was a boy.”

Political leaders and government officials are also part of the story, their thoughts and decisions, historical events, and the public’s response is foreshadowed.

“They are evil and kill without mercy.” He quotes Bush, and then writes “At this point rating surveys show views switching the channel in significant numbers and turning off their sets.” (77).

At first, there are subtle indications, which suggest sarcasm towards Bush and his administration.

“Today happens to be November 7, Election Day, ending a political season when the Bush administration had done its best to highlight and harness fear-the relentlessly cited August airline plot, the unveiling of the highest value al Qaeda detainees in September the numerous campaign speeches by Bush in October, with the oft-repeated line “If you don’t think we should be listening in or terrorists then you ought to vote for the Democrats.”” (91).

But as the idea of Uranium possibly being smuggled, and the chance that terrorist are creating a nuclear bomb begins to unfold. Sunkind calls it the “"The Armageddon Test”, for the first time a real threat, the new nuclear bomb era.

Government officials question and wonder to themselves how long they have. “Everywhere we’re driven by fear, fear of the unknown, of what might be coming but is still invisible, but by the time there will be proof, and it’ll be too late.” (94)

And it is within the desperate search to uncover the uranium black market, and to recover America’s morality, that Sunskind reveals the tangled lies regarding the Iraq war and the Bush administration.

This narrative, although not unique in regards to what it explores, has an original and entirely provocative emotional truth, which draws the reader in.

Jeremy Scarhills descriptive story, “Blackwater the Rise of The World’s Most Powerful Mercenary Army” explores the daunting reality of a new privatized billon dollar industry. An industry, which started as a protective force for high profile diplomats to aid the “war on terror” but that quickly, became a “one-stop for all”. Based in North Carolina, this company now provides a training zone for police and military officials, extensive army training, intelligence, arms, special vehicles, and even planes. It now hires ex soldiers, officers and CIA agents, who happily transfer due to its high paying salary.

But the story begins with a dramatic unfolding of Iraqi eyewitnesses revealing the truth of unprovoked massacres led by Blackwater mercenaries.

One Iraqi victim states, “My son was sitting behind me. He was shot in the head and his brains were all over the back of the car.” (Scahill 8).

The victims’ voice echoes in your mind as more of Scarhills facts are disclosed. The heart broken families, the Iraqi victims who contact human right attorneys, but are left with no answer or possibilities to prosecute these murders. Despite complaints and the torture scandals revolving prisoners and Blackwater employees, Blackwater continues to be heavily involved in the transportation of prisoners and the practice of illegal human trafficking. Even the military stated that Blackwater’s actions in Iraq have consistently resulted in an escalation of violence and bloodshed and interfere with military goals. (Page 25)

But still when cases were taken to court, Congress remained silent and claimed that constitutional laws do not address consequences for private contractors aiding in a war outside of the United States. Immediately the reader begins to wonder, how is it possible that these “security contracts” which cost the taxpayer billons a year, are consistently used as a murder weapon with no possibility for accountability? Who are the men behind these corporations? And lastly, which government officials support them?

Signs and Symbols of Primordial Man by Albert Churchward opens with more than an obnoxious beginning. At first, one wonders if this book was written in order to boost the ego of the Freemasons and to create an undeserving praise. Again, and again the author examines points made by previous writers and expresses that “we as freemasons” do not agree and illiterates in a condescending way that the author, in fact knows nothing and is wrong. At first, as a reader, one wonders what this book really is about. Was this book written purely to egocentrically bring glamour to this child-like fraternity? And further what are they going to bring to the table?

However, if one can get past the consistent use, of “we”, as in we the freemasons believe this and believe that, then the research presented becomes fascinating. Churchward has an extraordinary way of exploring the evolution of man.

Churchward examines the symbols, totems, and rituals of individual tribes throughout the globe, for instance, the pygmies and the Masaba Negro’s from Africa. By depicting the similarities of tribes predominately in regards to spiritually and its relation to symbols, he unfolds that each tribe throughout the globe held the same understanding of “the one”, the “creator”, “the light of the world” and so fourth. He demonstrates that the only difference among the tribes was the way the story was told.

For instance, in Ancient Mexico, the idea of darkness, or evil, now commonly named Satan was represented by a scorpion. However, the son of the creator, who comes, dies, and resurrects in each culture, is depicted in almost the same way, wearing a crown with seven points, seven feathers, or some sort of symbols intermixed with seven, and at times the all seeing eye on top.

After carefully showing the connections within each tribe, he exemplifies his conclusion; that each tribe must have one common center and that the origin was old Egypt. Churchward states that the beliefs, the beginning of spiritual thought and metaphysics, an understanding of the world and its creator came from Egypt and spread throughout the world due to an exodus.

After reading this extensive research, the reader begins to think of these ideas which current society still embraces, for instance modern Christianity. Are these ideas universal truth or is this purely ancient mythology which has been reiterated in hundreds of different way, from past to present?

This book allows the reader to question our present thought by looking into the past. Over-all, if Churchward could have learned to let go of his consistent need of self-flattery, this book could have been a pleasant, thought provoking and a much needed push for a global examination of modern thought and customs.

Before The Pharaohs. Edward F. Malkowski, Bear and Company

ISBN 978-1-59143-048-3

This book compiles a body of research that challenges the traditional Egyptologists theories about the origin of civilization and attempts to reconcile myth with science. Edward Malkowski introduces the ‘result of ongoing search for physical evidence of life long ago [that] paints a very different picture of history from what our forefathers accepted two hundred years ago.”

Until now and according to mainstream beliefs, the core question raised in this book is unanswered: Who were the glorious Egyptians, the builders of pyramids and the Sphinx? Do we have enough evidence substantiating the idea according to which the Sphinx “was carved thousands of years before the first Egyptian dynasty”? Is there a possible connection between the Mayan Queen Moo and the Egyptian rulers, even the Goddess Isis?

Edward Malkowski reminds the readers about the ancient knowledge of astronomy, precession of the equinoxes and mathematics. He draws his discourse from the appealing writings of Moustafa Gadalla, Auguste le Plongeon, John Anthony West and more. He slightly introduces symbolism, cites René Schwaller de Lubicz --- known for decades by anyone seriously involved into esoteric studies in Europe--- evokes Pythagoras and the Tetractys. However, he is still far from the truth…

The Arcana of Freemasonry: A History of Masonic Signs and Symbols, by Albert Churchward, a freemason that explored the origin and purpose of freemasonry and its connection to religious truth. Churchward, acknowledges that the majority of Freemasons no longer understand their purpose, but act as a normative college fraternity. Churchward critiques the Freemasonry, and asks them to pull away from political greed and to study their origin as “a group of craftsman” with the sole purpose to preserve and spread religious truth.

Through his exploration of worldly symbols, such as the cross of Christ, he traces the story of the one who rises and descends, back to Egyptian hieroglyphics. His book clearly explicates the many Egyptian symbols that retell the similar story of the bible and what the majority of the world calls Jesus today. His book allows one to surrender and to think about the truth. Who is Jesus? Is this the true identity of Christ? Is the biblical personification misguided? His book traces the evolutionary path of the cross, which was once depicted as a hammer like shape, and spread throughout South America and early African tribes, prior to the spread of Christianity in the Western World. Churchward’s book allows us to think of religion today, where it came from, the truth, and the lies.
