MICHAEL TRAJECTORY - PART ONE

"At the beginning of the terrestrial cycle, the Michaelic Consciousness sent its Creative Ray into Earth's space-time and manifested/sparked an extension, a Son. This extension was the "Root" who had to hold His Presence (= to re-present) and to share human history. We have mentioned earlier the case of Thoth and the Thoth-Anubis entity, identified with the Greek god Hermes and the Roman Mercury. The god and planet Mercury symbolize the physical body utilized by the Michaelic Consciousness. Both Mercury and Hermes are represented by the caduceus, a symbol that unites the Serpent or Dragon with the Wings of Spirit. Throughout human history, Michael has overshadowed this physical entity. The latter had to bring Wisdom to men as well as knowledge, in accordance with a divine calendar and with mankind's capacities of integration. Then, with the blessings of the Archangel Michael, this physical extension returns to Heaven and assumes its divine status again. Michael, "divine face," is the Verb that crosses the universe, ambassador of the Presence that then becomes the Son, 'the one who shows the way' -- metator in Latin."

The Consciousness called Michael in the Christian Tradition has incarnated under many forms and names. The Archangel Michael is neither specifically Christian nor the protector of the Jewish people.

It is said that "He is the one who fought with the devil over Moses body the one who receives the souls of the saints and leads them to the delights of paradise. He was the Prince of the synagogue, now firmly established as Prince of the Church. He, it is said, who hit Egypt with the plagues, who parted the waters of the Red Sea, who led the people to the Promised Land." (3 Monts, 396)

The reality is grander. Michael is the Consciousness in charge of the human race, the holder of the Essence of Spirit or Light. Michael then appears in all traditions, in all churches. The manner in which the Michaelic Consciousness is mentioned in the sacred texts simply depends on the time of redaction, as well as on the social and geographical context.

The Archangel Michael represents the Light, pure Spirit (as opposed to matter, to the Darkness = opposed principle, Satan). In the legends, it is therefore said that the Archangel stood up to defend God in front of Satan.

The Michaelic Consciousness has always been present and will always be, until the Divine Plan is fully manifested, but It periodically returns, manifests, and anchors Itself in a more intimate way with the Earth. At each passage on Planet Earth, the Michaelic Consciousness leaves its imprint and activates the sites that will feed the Earth as well as the human soul in harmony with the Divine Plan. In other words, at each critical step of the planetary and racial evolution, specific areas and sites play a privileged role.

In the context of the human structure, the chakras are gradually activated and set in harmony according to one's level of consciousness and to the soul's needs. At the right time and according to the soul's purpose, specific chakras will start functioning in synergy.

In terms of a planet, at a given time (= in a space-time X), specific vortices or centers of energy have to work synergistically. They will crystallize and assist a stage in the evolution of the planet and of the human race. The Divine Consciousness or God sends its energy through a spiritual Being or Intelligence. The latter then anchors Itself in the appropriate vortices.

On the physical plane, the Sun is the vital and spiritual center of the solar system. The Divine Impulse and Will are channeled through the Sun, and then manifested on the Earth in the human story.

The Spirit-Energy travels through the Sun. Therefore, Michael successively reveals himself under the appearance of the solar gods who have escorted the human race: "Quetzalcoatl is a prominent figure in Meso-American and Mexican mythology, a culture to which he contributed the calendar and maize. Named and depicted as the "feathered serpent" or the 'plumed serpent,' his relationship with the Michaelic Consciousness is easy to establish. With his enemy, Tezcatlipoca, Quetzalcoatl dominates a cycle of creation and destruction. 'God of the wind, patron of every art, and inventor of metallurgy, 'Quetzalcoatl was originally a deity of Chololan, but was driven out by the intrigues of Tezcatlipoca and decided to return to the old land of Tlapallan. He set sail on the Eastern Sea preceded by his attendants, who had been changed into bright-hued birds, after promising his people he would return." Amen, 267

In Ancient Greece, he took the identity of Apollo, the solar god. From details in the legends, we clearly recognize the Michaelic Consciousness. Apollo plays the lyre, or the harp. Lyra is one of the constellations in which the Archangel Michael resides. Apollo won over the goddess after fighting the Python who protected her (= the solar principle, male in polarity, assumes power over the lunar principle, female in polarity). His victory is celebrated during the Olympiads.

It is said that the Olympiads symbolized the battle between Light and Darkness and ended with Apollo's victory, the triumph of the Light. (Once more, the author must stress that our desire to speak, in 3D terms, of Spiritual Intelligences and Principles is almost an offense to their nature and magnificence. In our heart, we stand in reverent service and humility).

Apollo's terrestrial son is Asclepius, the healer. Although a mortal, he has the ability to resurrect the dead. Of course, Asclepius is related to Hermes/Mercury, whose caduceus he holds. In the Solar System, Mercury is the body, the vessel utilized by the Archangel Michael. (SEE ARTICLE Venus and Lucifer)

The cult of Apollo can be traced from the 8^th century B.C. through the 4^th century A.D., when it fell out of favor and was forbidden. Coincidently, this is the time when the Archangel started to be seen, manifesting at the sites that were dedicated to the solar cult. For instance, according to Life of Saint Cadoc, [St. Michael Mount was] "a wooded mount called Dinsul, the Castle, or Citadel of the Sun."(Dance Dragon, 97) "In the 5^th century, when the Druid traditions were merging with Celtic Christianity, a group of fishermen sailing in Mount's Bay is said to have experienced a shining vision of Saint Michael hovering over a rock at the summit of the island. This may be a mythic way of saying that the Mount, formerly dedicated to Sun worship, had now become a Christian sanctuary, taken over by a new God of Light." (Dance Dragon, 98)

This was not the advent of a new god. It is the same Consciousness, under a different denomination.

When humans sank into a state of lost consciousness and animality, they were left with only contacts with nature and the elements, upon which they depended to survive. They respected or worshipped the forces that had dominion over them. Then they realized that it is around the sun, whose benefits reached them every day, that life and cycles are built. Little by little, they rose above the understanding of the lower material world and discovered that this star is the adobe of a Consciousness. Thus, mankind turned toward this Intelligence.

In Delphi, visitors sought advice from the Pithia, Priestess of Apollo who ingested herbs and inhaled the vapors rising from the ground, as well as exhalations from the Python. Then, in a trance, she would deliver her famous veiled messages, whereupon the male priests would explain and translate them - Once again, such a practice evidenced the need of the pilgrims to give responsibility to someone else, not believing that they could communicate with the Divine without an intermediary.

Later, in the context of the cult to Mithras, individuals were led to think in terms of mysteries and knowledge. They acquired information while following initiatic degrees, and were impacted by the symbolism displayed during the rituals. The mind -- and thus the inner sense of one's own responsibility -- was triggered.

Thousands of years later, human beings have slowly progressed. The group consciousness is ready to take a step; pressured by the energy of the Piscean Era, a new form of religion appeared, still imperfect and still in the image of mankind. For centuries, the life of the churches and of the so-called Christian nations has been driven by power struggles and manipulation of the masses, bundled with wars, torture, and abuse. However, the Christian philosophy, its credo, tends, in its concept, to turn the attention of men toward higher principles. The Church does not practice Divine Love, but it does speak about it. Its monks are still not examples of detachment, and many priests cannot respect their vows of chastity. And yet the focus of the faithful is set toward the higher chakras, toward the purification of the body. The Christian god is still anthropomorphic, but at least it is supposed to be ubiquitous and invisible. Moreover, at least officially, animal and human sacrifices have been abolished, since the presumed sacrifice of the Son made the law obsolete.

At this point, we have to mention that the evolution of the principles proposed to the human race, and the refinement of the Earth consciousness, happens hundreds (even thousands) of years before the moment when the mass consciousness further awakens and then aligns itself. In the twenty-first century, the greater part of the population is still unable to take responsibility for its destiny. In simple terms, it is easier to consult a tarot reader or a shaman promising some miracles than to accept facing one's fears, one's shadow.

In the more recent past, the Archangel started to manifest in the Christian world. According to popular beliefs, the Archangel Michael appears. These apparitions, in whatever form they take and independent of human interpretation of these phenomena, have generated a focus of attention as well as visits from pilgrims at select sites. It is easy to understand that a Consciousness of such magnitude as the Archangel could overshadow individuals or groups in order to organize the focus of the believers, and to orchestrate the necessary events that will trigger the start of a cult. Then, the prayers of the pilgrims, and the utilization of the name Michael, will have anchored a frequency at activated sites, whose energy is essential to the development of human consciousness. The appearance of Michael during the fifth century C.E., in Italy, marked the anchoring of the Michaelic Consciousness in Europe.
